Product Overview
MiniONE 6-Axis Force-Torque Sensor
The MiniONE is a miniature 6-axis Force Torque sensor — the smallest in our lineup — engineered for applications where every gram and millimeter matter. Designed to deliver exceptional precision in the most compact form, it was created to meet the demand for highly sensitive force sensing in confined spaces.
As part of our Generation A family, MiniONE combines our proven sensing technology with our new FTstack™ software and configuration tool for instant setup. It’s available in two connector variants and as a fingertip sensor kit for the Robotiq 2F grippers, combining plug-and-play installation and ready-to-use haptic algorithms.
MiniONE excels in aerial inspection, in-hand manipulation, robotic surgery, and other precision miniaturized applications. The USB variant accelerates research and development, while the UART/USB variant ensures seamless integration with a variety of systems.

Sensor Model: Rokubi Serial
Application: Robot-Assisted Mobility/ Measurement of interaction forces between human and robot for analysis and closed-loop control
Dr. Diego Paez
Robotic Systems Lab ETH Zurich Research scientist at EPFL

“We chose to use three Rokubi EtherCAT sensors for our upper-limb exoskeleton due to their small volume and integrated electronics. These features make them easy to incorporate into the design of the exoskeleton. Furthermore, the different connector locations help to integrate the sensor flush into the design. The drift resistance of the sensors is beneficial for use in longer exercises where the arm of the user is continuously connected to the sensor. The inbuilt electronics for EtherCAT communication enable adding sensors in a modular fashion to an existing framework of actuators and sensors. This keeps the flexibility of the system high.”
