Seamless integration of SensONE Force Torque Sensor for Kassow Robots and Mirka AIOS Sander
Bota Systems and Kassow Robots partner to enhance touch-sensitive automation. Bota Systems joins the KR Pulse ecosystem, enabling seamless integration, while Kassow Robots joins Bota Systems’ OEM network
Bota Systems, a leader in force-torque sensing technology, and Kassow Robots, a pioneer in agile and powerful collaborative robotics, have joined forces to enable advanced industrial automation. As part of this collaboration, Bota Systems is now a member of Kassow Robots’ KR Pulse ecosystem, which offers seamless integration of a diverse range of end-of-arm tools and software.
By integrating Bota Systems’ high-precision force-torque sensors with Kassow Robots’ collaborative robotic arms, the partnership enhances automation for applications requiring precise force control, such as grinding, polishing, and sanding. These solutions are particularly valuable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) engaged in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing.
“With Bota Systems now part of the KR Pulse ecosystem, manufacturers can benefit from effortless integration and a streamlined path to automation in force-sensitive tasks,” said Ilias Patsiaouras, CTO & Co-founder at Bota Systems.
This collaboration represents a significant step toward smarter, more adaptive automation, enabling manufacturers to achieve higher quality and productivity with minimal integration effort. Additionally, Kassow Robots now joins Bota Systems’ partner network of robot OEMs, alongside Kinova Robots, Mecademic Robots, Universal Robots, and others.
About Bota Systems
Bota Systems is a developer and manufacturer of multi-axis force-torque sensors, torque sensors, and custom sensors. Founded in 2020 as a spin-off from ETH Robotic Systems Lab, Bota Systems is based in Zurich, Switzerland. Its sensors give machines the sense of touch, and the company’s vision is for robots to work and move safely, and as naturally and freely as humans. Bota Systems’ team of accomplished robotic, software, and mechanical engineers continually develops highly-integrated and advanced sensors to support a wide range of applications, across both research and industry.
